Description

The National Payroll Institute's CPM certification is the next step for The Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) certification holders looking to enter a management position. CPM certification builds on compliance knowledge and develops payroll management skills to prepare seasoned professionals to manage a payroll department.
 
Enrolment Prerequisites:
 
Students must submit the Payroll Experience Prerequisite Application and receive approval from the Institute prior to enrolling in the Introduction to Payroll Management course. Students must also be a Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) certification holder.
 
Students must first register with Sheridan College and pay the college registration fee. Students must also register with the National Payroll Institute and pay the Institute’s applicable fee(s) in order to receive their course materials and get access to the online learning platform. Students should register with the Institute no later than five business days before the start date of the course.
 
You MUST have the prerequisites before enrolling in each course.

Note: 
  • A minimum grade of 65% in each course is required in order for the National Payroll Institute to accept the courses.
  • A minimum final exam grade of 65% in each Canadian Payroll Institute course (BUSM79011 and BUSM79012) is required in order for the Institute to accept the courses.
