Graduation Requirements:

This certificate is available to any graduating student who has otherwise met the requirements for the certificate.

The certificate in Forest Resource Management and Conservation will be awarded at the time of graduation.

Program Requirements:
 
The Certificate in Forest Resource Management and Conservation consists for the following 15 credits as outlined below:

BIOL 2346    Techniques in Forest Ecology and Management 3 cr.
BIOL 2447    Ecology of Ontario Trees and Forests 3 cr.
BIOL 3447    Silviculture 3 cr.

Plus six credits from the following list: 6 cr.
 
BIOL 3007    Environmental Issues in Forestry
BIOL 3397    Introductory Soil Science
BIOL 3436    Conservation Biology
BIOL 4437    Landscape Ecology
BIOL 4976    Biology Field Camp
