Please note: To complete this Certificate program, students must take the 5 Core Courses (Mandatory Classes and 2 Elective Courses (7 weeks each).
Invaluable to every sector, the role of a Business Analyst requires a unique skill set. Sheridan's Business Analysis Certificate is designed to give students the foundational knowledge required to help understand the role of business analysis in an organization, while helping you work their way up to advanced business analysis skills such as process modeling, process improvement, business communication, project management fundamentals, data science, and more. Using business analysis skills to help identify and articular change in organizations, successful students will be able to successfully identify, define, and facilitate changes required by an organization. Students who can successfully blend stakeholder requirements with their unique abilities to plan and create will see optimal success in the thriving world of business analysis, and become indispensable to an organization.

The Business Analysis Body of Knowledge (BABOK®) is defined by the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA®) which is the basis for the globally recognized Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) and Certification of Competency in Business Analysis (CCBA) designations.
Sheridan Continuing and Professional Studies is an approved Endorsed Education Provider (EEP) through IIBA®. Using curriculum that is consistent with the BABOK®, you’ll acquire the requisite skills to assess a business and support projects at all stages. If you'd like to be a business analyst, IT systems analyst, operations analyst, business process analyst, or business architect—or if you already work in that or a related field and would like to learn more about best practices—then this program (and related designations) is for you.

Junior Business Analyst Micro-Credential
If you are unsure of committing to the full certificate, our Junior Business Analyst Micro-Credential program is also available. This program consists of three (3) courses that lay a foundational knowledge in business analysis practices and procedures. Students will gain a fundamental understanding of the importance of business analysis within an organization, while ensuring to utilizing proper change and project management procedures to implement solutions. This is a perfect introductory credential for those who wish to test out a new field of study, or quickly upskill for current trends. Students who complete this micro-credential can easily pathway into the Certificate program after completion.
