Principles of Sport & Event Marketing I
Description
This course provides students with an introduction to principles associated with integrated marketing within the sport and event sectors while touching on the arts, entertainment, and nonprofits. Using sport as the learning catalyst, students learn way to market products and services through leveraging brand properties with an introduction to sponsorship as a promotional tool. This course utilizes experiential and applied learning so that students will develop the practical skills needed to deliver sport and event-based promotions when they enter the industry.
