HR & Current Business Processes
Description
The purpose of this course is to explore the various current functional areas of business in Canada, so as to understand the role and place of HR in each. The interrelationship among these areas will be explored and discussed from an HR perspective. Students will research and be exposed to a variety of business concepts, including major current business trends, the role of government in HR decision making, marketing, operations management, employee management issues, financial resources management, work issues and business ethics, international business, social responsibility, community related philanthropy.
