Event Planning and Management II
Description
Event Planning and Management II is a capstone course where students in teams will execute the event they planned in Event Planning and Management I in semester 1. Working in teams the students will have hands-on experience managing all aspects of a major event applying project management tools, marketing, and teamwork skills learned in the program to raise funds for a charity. This course is designed to simulate the world of work and is delivered using a problem-based learning model. Working in groups, students will direct their own learning by researching, planning, designing, executing, and evaluating all facets of a major event with the instructor providing a consultant role.
