Event Entrepreneurship

In this course students will develop the entrepreneurial characteristics and attitudes necessary to succeed in today's competitive and dynamic business environment. Students will learn the different forms of business ownership and the skills needed to start and manage a small business as well as how to write an effective business plan. Individually, students will participate in an online entrepreneurship simulation where they will have the chance to practice those skills by running their own business in a virtual environment. Then working in teams, students will research and create a business plan for their own small event planning company.
