DEVL-5008 is designed to examine the many ways the career path of an event planner could unfold, and to develop strategies that will enable you to be successful in your chosen career path. We will focus on your goals for your career, how to achieve them, and how to pivot to meet the changing needs in your field. Networking within the industry will be stressed, and strategies for creating your network will be discussed. Both a professional cover letter and resume will be developed and your interview skills will be honed. Emotional and social intelligence skills will be emphasised, as today's employers are looking for employees that bring intelligence, interpersonal and intrapersonal skills to their workplace.
