Professional Bookkeeper

Description

The Professional Bookkeeper program will provide you with skills and knowledge in bookkeeping and accounting systems. Upon completing the program, you will be prepared for employment in small business, as well as medium- and large-sized corporate environments, service, professional, manufacturing or retail operations.
Graduates of the Professional Bookkeeper recognition of achievement program can fast-track toward the nationally recognized Certified Professional Bookkeeper (CPB) designation and can use their completed credits (ACC120, ACC220, SMS315 and ACCC405) towards the Apprentice Level course requirements. Upon successful completion of the nine CPB Canada courses, you will be eligible to access the Apprentice Level test and digital badge with CPB Canada. Additional eligibility requirements must be achieved. As a graduate, you will also have access to a preferred student membership rate that offers full member benefits and provides access to continuing education and networking opportunities with bookkeeping professionals across Canada.

Entry Requirements: Ontario Secondary School Diploma Grade 12 English and Mathematics or Mature Student Status.
Students who enter the program are expected to have college level English Proficiency as well both basic computer and systems knowledge. Students without these skills should consider completing COM101/COM111, and SMS210 prior to enrolling in the required courses.
