Management Studies

Good management must be based increasingly on research and knowledge rather than intuition and experience. Hence, the Management Studies academic plans are designed to provide the theoretical background relevant to current management practice, and thus should be useful in many entry-level management jobs, and as a basis for further education in management.
Students enrolled in any non- or post-degree academic plan may pursue the Diploma in Management Studies.
The Diploma in Management Studies requires successful completion of a minimum of four academic course units (eight courses) with a minimum cumulative average of 65%. Including:

Notes:
1. The Diploma in Management Studies is not available to students currently enrolled in or who have graduated from university business programs, plans, or subplans, including Waterloo "X and Business" academic plans.
