Legal Office Assistant

Description

Set yourself apart from the other candidates with strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills. With little or no previous experience, you can develop exceptional office support skills required to perform all of the standard operational procedures in a legal office.

Individual courses are open to all students whether or not they are working toward the certificate.

Prerequisites may be required for these courses. Please refer to individual course descriptions for specific requirements.

Students will have up to 5 years to complete this part-time Program of Study.

Important Notes
New course numbers have been assigned to the following courses:

LAWS1103 (Legal Terminology) is now ADMN1422
LAWS1488 (Litigation Practice and Procedures 1) is now ADMN1420
LAWS1487 (Family Law Practice and Procedure) is now ADMN1416

The following courses has been removed from the program and replaced:

LAWS1073 (Introduction to Law in Society) is replaced by LAWS1489 (Criminal Law)
COMP1420 (Excel - Level I) is replaced by COMP1978 (Excel - Specialist)
