The health care landscape is constantly evolving. The Graduate Diploma in Applied Health Sciences is a fully online graduate diploma program that gives you the health systems knowledge and leadership tools to respond to these changes.
 
Start in May or September
 
With two intakes per year, you choose when to start and how quickly to progress. Across one mandatory course and four elective courses, the program lets you build your knowledge, one course at a time.

After the mandatory Critical Thinking in Health Sciences course, you can customize your workload and decide how long you'll take to complete the program within a five-year period.

Forward-facing graduate education
 
Upon program completion you can return to the workplace with upgraded skills. After completing two courses in good standing, you can choose to apply with advanced standing to the Applied Health Sciences master's programs.
 
Admissions and Eligibility

Applicants must meet the following admission requirements:
  • An undergraduate degree (or equivalent) in the area of health sciences, from an accredited university, college or institute
  • Minimum B average based on the last two years or 20 half credits of study
  • Two references
  • One academic (if attended university within the last five years) and one professional
  • Demonstrated English language proficiency, including both written and oral communication
  • Applicants whose first language is not English must provide evidence of English language proficiency (TOEFL or IELTS is recommended)
  • A minimum TOEFL score of 620 (paper-based), 105 (internet-based), 260 (computer-based) or an IELTS score of 7.5 is required
  • Advanced computer skills
  • Learners who hold an undergraduate degree, or equivalent, in an unrelated field and have at least two years of appropriate, full-time employment experience in the health sciences may be admitted on a case-by case basis.

Students are required to successfully complete a total of five courses to earn a Graduate Diploma in Applied Health Sciences.
