Program Overview

This two-year Financial Services diploma program is geared towards those who want an in-depth study of the industry while also gaining important industry certifications. As you attend theoretical courses, you'll also gain certifications in the Canadian Securities Course (CSC), life insurance (LLQP), mutual funds (IFIC) and retirement planning (RPC).

Once you successfully complete the Centennial College Financial Services courses, you'll be well prepared for a wide variety of positions such as personal banking representative, analyst and investment advisor.

*Students with an English Assessment score of COMM170/171 will take COMM170/171 in the first semester.

**MATH128 prepares students for MATH119 which is a required course for most of The Business School diploma programs. Applicants who test between 21/45 and 35/45 in the MATH Assessment test will be exempted from MATH128, and students who score 36/45 or higher will be exempted from MATH128 and MATH118, and will take MATH119. Students who test into MATH128 will be subject to an additional fee.

***Students are required to complete FINA339 and FINA349 (CSC prep courses), additional industry specific fees will apply and the approximate cost is $500
per course.
