With the rapid growth of online education, demand is growing for skilled developers of web-based learning. This program is designed to provide students with usable skills and a pedagogical basis for developing quality online learning materials. Students will learn the practical skills for elearning development and will also be introduced to how their role relates to the team based approach in educational design.
Areas of focus include collaborating with subject matter experts, developing and maintaining web and multi-media content, recommending appropriate elearning strategies and materials based on learning theory, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, accessibility legislation, copyright legislation, and industry standards.
