Customer Service Certificate

Description

Customer Service is critical to survival in today's economy. In this certificate, you'll learn how to understand yourself, your team, and your customers, and how to develop successful relationships with others. You will master techniques to achieve your goals and avoid many types of mistakes. Everything you learn can be used to "Wow" your customers and convert them into long term assets.
 
Certificate requirements

Complete the following courses:
  • Managing Customer Service
  • Skills for Making Great Decisions
  • Achieving Success with Difficult People
  • Effective Selling
Courses are not eligible to be used for more than one certificate; Effective Selling can be used for either the Customer Service Certificate or the Sales and Marketing Fundamentals Certificate but not both.
 
Note: All courses must be taken through Professional Development at the University of Waterloo in order to be eligible for the certificate from Professional Development.
 
Each course is six weeks long, followed by a two-week period to complete the final exam (online, open book) and you are not required to be online at any specific time. Lessons are released on Wednesdays and Fridays of each week. For planning purposes we suggest setting aside two hour per lesson as a starting point.
 
To register, click the course links above and select a start date. Instructions on how to access your course will be emailed to you immediately after registration. It is best practice to enrol for no more than two courses with the same start date to achieve the highest learning outcome.
