About the program
The online, part-time Business Administration - Accounting program will provide you with the knowledge and skills necessary for a career in an intermediate-level accounting position, along with the fundamentals necessary for advancement to managerial positions. You will be able to apply computer, communication, and mathematical skills and employ management accounting techniques to support accounting activities, including the maintenance of accounting records and the preparation of financial statements and individual and corporate tax returns. You will also be able to perform a variety of more complex functions, including applying principles of financial analysis and planning and control; using analytical and evaluation skills to support a variety of management functions; and collaborating in the design of an organization's system of internal control.
This program is also offered in full-time delivery.
Program information
All courses must be successfully completed within 7 years of acceptance into the program.
Admission requirements
- Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD), or equivalent, or 19 years of age or older with mature student status (See Mature Student definition for details.)
- Grade 12 compulsory English, C (min 60%) or U (min 50%), or equivalent, OR Conestoga College Preparatory Communications (COMM1251), or equivalent (min 60%)
- Grade 12 Mathematics, C (min 60%) or U (min 50%) or equivalent, OR Conestoga College Preparatory Mathematics (MATH1375) min 60%.
