AutoCad 3D Civil - Essentials
Description
In the AutoCAD 3D Civil® - Essentials ROA, students will learn the drafting and design tools available from the AutoCAD Civil 3D® software and gain comprehensive experience with the features and benefits of AutoCAD Civil 3D®. This program is geared towards the expanding demand for technicians and designers with the working knowledge of the AutoCAD Civil 3D® software. This program will assist students in learning the techniques involved in: setting up project styles, templates, and project design data; working with Civil 3D points; creating and analyzing surfaces, model road corridors, and land parcel layouts; performing grading and volume calculation tasks and the layout of pipe networks. Civil drafters/technicians: These individuals focus on designing civil engineering projects, such as highways, bridges, water and sewage systems, subdivisions, and site-plan projects. AutoCAD Civil 3D® is used to design, analyze, and document these types of projects.
Entry Requirements
Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD), or equivalent, OR 19 years of age or older.
