Workplace Wellness and Rehabilitation
Description
This course examines the structure and function of the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB). The course will focus on the WSIB's role in promoting and managing health, safety, and wellness in the workplace and educating workplace parties about their roles and obligations as they relate to an injury or illness, modified work, and work reintegration. The course will encompass new legislation as it relates to mental health. Workplace wellness will also be a focal point with respect to addiction and family assistance programs.
