Virtual Production: Motion Capture Technician
Description
Are you interested in being able to use the latest cutting-edge technologies in Virtual Production to develop your skills as a Motion Capture Technician? The digitization of filmmaking and the growth of in-camera visual effects (ICVFX) as a mainstream tool, has created a need for more technical roles on film sets. Motion Capture has long been a part of animation, visual effects, and bringing CGI characters to life, however, ICVFX has created the need for a new position on set. Motion Capture Technicians fulfill a key role as virtual production crews address the emerging challenges faced by filmmakers who are pushing the technology to realize their creative vision. This course, in combination with the Virtual Production Introductory Concepts and the Collaboration and Leadership courses will prepare you with entry-level competencies for the role of Motion Capture Technician ready to join the development and creation of this new and innovative way of filmmaking.
