Urban Design
Description
In this course, studio exercises are based on a case study methodology. Students will assess historical, existing, and conceptual examples of urban design and then apply this knowledge to practical problems. This course will focus on the elements of the city design with a particular emphasis on the public realm and built form. Final projects will be presented using a wide variety of illustrative tools including CAD, GIS, and other technologies.
