Technical Reading & Writing for the Health Science
Description
In this course, students will develop the tools necessary to read scientific research and other academic texts. Emphasis will be placed on critically analyzing and synthesizing secondary source materials. Furthermore, through examination of various reasoning processes and practical applications, students will be encouraged to develop essential thinking and reading strategies to help them solve problems, construct and evaluate arguments, and analyze issues. Students will also have the opportunity to explore, evaluate, and enhance critical and creative thinking skills.
