Structural Editing Standards
Description
As part of the Professional Editing Standards Certificate program, this course explores what is expected of editors who perform structural/substantive editing. Course topics include additions, deletions, reordering and recasting, working with supplemental textual and visual elements, permissions, working with authors, and structural/substantive editing of fiction and non-fiction.
