Strategic Leadership
Description
In this course, students will learn strategic management concepts in the field of logistics and supply chain management. Students will identify strategic management inputs related to the competitive landscape of the corporation and their supply chain system. The course will focus on the external environment that the corporation works within which includes opportunities, threats, industry completion and competitor analysis. Students will explore the strategic framework of transporting goods across international destinations, research the evolving concepts of the international supply chain network and calculate the risks involved with global operations regarding the transportation and distribution industry. This course involves research into a specific corporation or company of the student’s choice. The student will learn the strategic forces of the corporation in relation to the supply chain.
