The course covers the enhanced cinematography controls embedded in smartphone cameras through the Filmic Pro app, with a closer look at the precision settings affecting colour space. It breaks down the two recognized filmmaking styles - scripted/narrative and documentary/reality - and see how smartphones can enhance each filmmaking experience. The course examines in detail smartphone cinematography teaching camera movement, blocking, composition, rack focus, depth of field and zoom.
