Scope and Quality Management

This course provides students with the knowledge and tools required to both define project scope and create a work breakdown structure (WBS). Students gain a solid foundation in techniques for managing and controlling scope during project implementation in order to ensure that the project meets stakeholder requirements. Students also learn tools and techniques to assist in planning quality management, performing quality assurance, and controlling quality during project implementation. Students develop essential skills in communication, negotiation, decisionmaking, teamwork, and leadership skills that are critical to effective project management.
