Risk Management - Health and Safety

Students analyze the health and safety risk associated with product manufacturing in various sectors. They use principles of risk assessment, mitigation, and communication to analyze given scenarios. In addition, students apply current Ontario occupational health and safety legislation, including the Occupational Health and Safety Act, Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) regulations, and Workplace Safety and Insurance Act, as they relate to performing facility compliance audits or inspections.
