Race, Ethnicity and Education
Description
This course deals with building a deeper knowledge of multicultural and anti-racism approaches in education. It focuses on a range of topics including, addressing race, cultural and religious diversity. It will provide a framework for dealing with discrimination on the basis of racial, ethnic, and cultural differences. Indigenous issues in education will also be addressed. Attention will be on promoting critical reflective practice at both individual and institutional levels.
