Police Powers II

Description

This course is a continuance of Police Powers I. It focuses on police governance and accountability issues in the Police Service Act, police complaints, First Nations policy and management and labour issues. Use of Force Theory, law and other legal issues related to the use of force are discussed. Theory related to officer safety is examined. Prerequisite: POFP303; Police Powers I. TEXTBOOK REQUIRED.
