Planning Legislation and Governance

Description

The course covers legislation in the Ontario Planning context, including the Planning Act, Official Plans, Zoning By-Laws. It will examine the appeal procedures and mechanisms, including the rulings of the Committee of Adjustment, Ontario Land Tribunal and Toronto Local Appeal Body. The course will also cover planning ethics and its importance in the planning profession.
