Plan Examination

Our Plan Examination course is an introduction to reading and interpreting construction drawings for those interested in performing the plan examination function as a building official. Study architectural working drawings in order to understand the importance of building component co-ordination as well as the interdependency of structural, electrical and mechanical systems. Develop a knowledge of how drawings must be prepared for building permit applications, and learn how to relate the information contained on the drawings/specifications to the Ontario Building Code.
