Organizational Change Management

Description

This course will provide learners with tools, processes, and theories required to:
  • understand the reasons for organizational change;
  • handle those changes from internal, external, and psychological perspectives.
Through in-class activities and online (blended) delivery modes, students will learn how to critically assess, evaluate and plan effective change management strategies and lead change initiatives. The course will focus on:
  • how to apply the processes required to lead change through transformation frameworks;
  • incorporating techniques, supported by the understanding of the psychology of change, that encourage people to be open to change.
Students will learn to utilize tools that are effective for change management situations. Case analysis, discussion and debates will be used to achieve learning outcomes, solidifying the leadership, management, strategic and communication skills that contemporary organizations require.
