Ontario Building Code (Civil & Architecture)
Description
An introduction to the Ontario Building code (OBC) with a specific emphasis on Part 9, Structural Requirements, and Inspections, including reading plans, building permit application and difficulties confronting building inspectors. The course will also look at site plans, footings, foundation walls concrete slabs on ground, roof and ceiling construction, floor and wall construction, brick veneer and structural components.
