Students learn how to ensure due diligence, legal and regulatory compliance by analyzing current health and safety legislation to understand the duties and responsibilities of all workplace parties. The need for and the benefits associated with joint responsibility by workers and management through an internal responsibility system is reinforced throughout the course.
