Methods III Relapse Prevention
Description
On the road to recovery and wellness, relapse prevention programming is an essential component of the continuum of wellness. Students will review the relapse prevention principles, and learn to apply this knowledge in a community-based context. Students will develop prevention programs designed to promote self-efficacy among their clients such as social skills, problem-solving, conflict resolution, parenting, use of leisure time, connection with culture and ceremonies, feeding their spirit and acquiring self-management skills.
