Mathematics Fundamentals
Description
This course is a preparatory mathematics course. It is designed to help students acquire the skill and understanding of fundamental mathematics and introductory algebra necessary for success in the subsequent course - Math 1052. The course includes basic arithmetic operations, fundamental operations and equations, and is intended to strengthen basic arithmetic skills within problem-solving contexts. Additional topics covered are: fractions and decimals, exponents, ratio, proportion and percent, and an introduction to algebra. Use of the calculator is integrated into the course content.
