Description

Procuring products and services is a major responsibility of project managers. With in-depth knowledge of the procurement process and cost management, you will be prepared for the complex tasks ahead. You will study the structured procurement process, develop procurement documents, evaluate vendor proposals, draft contracts and oversee contract execution. Throughout the course, you will obtain knowledge of the dimensions and factors involved in cost, value and procurement management. Acquiring these skills will allow you to procure products and services that achieve cost efficiency and optimization in projects you manage- making you pivotal to project success. Gain valuable procurement and cost management know-how by expanding on the information you acquired from MGMT79001 Fundamentals of Project Management. You will be required to purchase a textbook.
