Management of a Construction Project
Description
This course will provide students with an advanced understanding of the principles and practical application of professional construction management. The course will cover areas of: role of the construction manager, principles of securing the project, estimating, planning, scheduling, quality control, legal aspects, communication, documentation and promotion of sustainable principles. Students will learn through a study of both the theory and the practical aspects of the management process. With examples of typical and critical situations from real projects, the students will be able to familiarize themselves, explore,debate and react to the challenging aspects of construction management.
