Management Information Systems

This course introduces the strategic value of information technology in contemporary business environments. The course adopts a management perspective in examining key concepts and issues related to using information technology to make informed business decisions. Topics include major tools and systems supporting decision making, sourcing and governance, e-business, organizational impacts of information technology, and ethical considerations.
