Level I: CBT for Educators

Description

As secondary caregivers educators are of vital importance to helping families identify and respond to child and adolescent mental health issues. Developed with educators in mind this course introduces learners to key cognitive behaviour therapy interventions to improve mental health in the classroom from grades K-12. This course will focus on teaching learners how to operate from a trauma informed lens key behaviour interventions to identify and interrupt thought patterns that lead to mental illness how to increase emotional intelligence and step-by-step examples for helping K-12 students overcome anxiety depression and ADHD. All foundational CBT techniques will be taught as well as resources provided with a focus on delivery examples adaptation and homework assignments for in a classroom setting.
