Leadership Principles and Practice
Description
This course will enable learners to understand what it means to lead, how to develop leadership skills, and how to apply strategies for leading today’s organizations in order to either gain or maintain their competitive advantage on a local, national or global scale. Through blended (in-class and online) delivery students will learn how to identify and implement leadership strategies that will motivate internal stakeholders to achieve not only the organization's goals but their own personal goals as well. Essential parts of the course will focus on developing individual leadership capacity enabling students to find the resolve to continue to lead even in times of change or adversity while maintaining ethical standards both personally and professionally.
