Introduction to Writing and English Studies
Description
This course introduces students to a range of literary and rhetorical genres: fiction, poetry, drama, non-fictional prose, film, and public discourse. The course develops students' critical reading and writing abilities. Focusing on the principles of argumentation, exposition, and writing process, the course actively engages in writing workshops, developing students' proficiencies in peer-editing, essay writing, as well as research paper preparation and presentation
