Introduction to Justice Careers

This introductory course examines the history, operations, and roles of a wide range of justice career sectors within law enforcement. Students will be exposed to the requirements, qualifications, competencies, and attitudes needed to compete for positions within each sector and discuss the stressors and trends associated with them. Students will engage in self assessment exercises, employment search strategies, and create readiness plans to identify career paths.
