Introduction to Health Care Delivery Systems

Description

This course provides students with a broad overview of Canada's health care system from its origins to current state. Students will be introduced to concepts of wellness, population health measures, health programming at the federal and provincial levels, relevant health care legislation, and the roles of a variety of health care professionals. Throughout the course, students will examine current events in health care with a lens as to their current and future effects on health care provision.
