Introduction to Cultural Specific Helping

This course involves the students in first-hand experiences in preparing and participating in various cultural activities. Students will gain awareness and appreciation of the meaning and role of specific ceremonies, (in particular the sweat lodge and the pipe ceremonies) in relationship to wellness, addictions treatment and prevention.
