Inclusive Classrooms & Special Education

Description

In this course students will learn about the special needs population in Ontario the service delivery model the Individual Education Plan (IEP) and the identification and placement process. The role of the educational assistant as part of a multi-disciplinary team will be a focus as students are introduced to the related professions and transition planning. Contemporary issues in special education will also be examined.
