Human Resources and Career Skills

This course provides students with knowledge of the core principles of Human Resources as it relates to building a strong corporate culture. Understanding the role of HR and the laws that protect labour in Canada gives students a tool to transition into the workforce. Students will have an opportunity to create an industry-ready resume and practice interviewing skills.

Certification in the "It's Your Shift" online training is earned for students to understand their roles and responsibilities regarding harassment and human rights issues in the hospitality workplace.
