Description
Learn about the importance of tourism to the local economy. What are the connections between businesses, the local economy and the larger tourism industry? Identify the roles and responsibilities of workers within the tourism industry (e.g., chef, server, esthetician, host, housekeeper, bartender, customer service agent, etc.), and learn how they contribute to local tourism. You'll learn about regional tourism and be able to recommend local events, attractions, and businesses to clients and visitors.
