Health Assessment (OHN)
Description
**Please note: all students registered in this course must be Registered Nurses (RN) in Good Standing with CNO**
Students will acquire the knowledge and skill to obtain a health history and perform a physical examination for various clients. Focus will be on the adult population and will include aspects of cultural compassion, aboriginal health, gender and sexual identity, interpersonal violence, and mental health. Health promotion strategies are integrated throughout the course and include an introduction to risk assessment in mental health, substance use, complex pain, and domestic violence.
