GIS Data Management
Description
This course will teach participants how to design, manage and access spatial data in an enterprise database environment. Students will learn the structure of a database's native spatial data model, how to work with spatial objects, and perform analysis using spatial operators and functions. Students will also gain practical skills processing spatial and non-spatial data with a structured database programming language.
Pre-Requisites: GIS Database Development (GEOM 70), Customization of GIS Applications (GEOM 73), Spatial Analysis II (GEOM 109). 35 hours.
