Foundations in Human Biology
Description
This course provides students a foundation in biology as it relates to the health sciences. The major areas of emphasis are the structure and function of cells, tissues, organs, organ systems, and their role in maintaining homeostasis in the human body.
The delivery of this course includes: lecture and discussion, in-class independent and group work. Students will be referred to electronic and print resources which may illustrate concepts introduced in the classes.
